The AX1 has a built-in GPS receiver for accurate frequency control and phase referencing. But in some test locations, such as in an indoor sub or cable basement, the GPS reception can be insufficient. The External GPS Kit for AX1 includes a standalone GPS module and interface lead, that integrates with AX1 and works automatically alongside the built-in GPS.
The module is weatherproof and can quickly be mounted to a structure using the integrated magnet, or via a cable tie or hook.
The 30m/100′ long cable is supplied on our ergonomic hand reel for easy management.
